Chillin with the Cool Cat

We were a group of 10 and chartered the Cool Cat catamaran helmed by Capt. Wayne and his daughter Sim. It was a beautiful day for sailing along the coast and the captain too us to some excellent snorkeling sites. We saw many turtles swimming past the catamaran. Sim treated us to a delicious lunch and later on to a dessert of fruits and sweets. Capt. Wayne and Sim are terrific hosts and professional, friendly, knowledgeable about the island and good company. You feel confident you're in good hands. Our entire group devoured the lunch and was super relaxed and chill by the end of the trip. A six hour charter flew by in no time thanks to the Captain and Sim. This became one of the highlights of our family trip!

Antigua Private Catamaran

This may have been the best part of my trip to Antigua. Wayne and Lara were very lovely. We were greeted with wine and Rum punch, a quick safety briefing, and we were off sailing around Antigua. They have a speaker to play music. The boat was beautiful and clean. We went to a private beach while they grilled us lunch and it was just perfect. The weather was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had access to the entire catamaran and they were just good company. I would definitely recommend and book again. Iman N.

Perfect sunset cruise

We did the sunset cruise this year with our kids, it was their first boat experience. The family run catamaran was perfect and peaceful. From the time we arrived to the time we got off. You could tell they wanted to give you the best experience possible. I will recommend this catamaran over and over again.

Great time and friendly crew

This was our second trip on Cool Cat with Wayne and his crew. The food is excellent, the coolers are stocked, the catamaran is clean. Wayne is friendly and caters to your wished. We made two stops to snorkel on our trip and both were amazing. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. We will be back.

A Must Do!

Another amazing day on The Cool Cat! We stopped at a couple snorkeling spots, had a delicious lunch and sipped on yummy rum punch. Never disappoints, HIGHLY RECOMMEND COOL CAT, A MUST DO IN ANTIGUA!!!

Amazing Private Charter on Cool Cat

Would HIGHLY recommend this experience. There is no better way to explore and see Antigua than on the water. The owner and captain were lovely and made the entire day unforgettable. The food was delicious as well. Our entire group had the best time and we so appreciated the hospitality of the crew on the Cool Cat.

MUST SAIL

This is the 2nd time we've sailing with Coolcat Catamaran and I can't say enough great things about them! They treat you like family the second you step on the boat and make you feel right at home. The lunch is so delicious - we were still talking about it from years ago! The rum punch sets the bar high as well.

Amazing!

We (5 adults) booked the 6 hour tour with Wayne and Lara. This was such an amazing day! We were able to see the beautiful coastline, dock and tour and old military fort. We were furnished with an amazing lunch and refreshments were available the entire 6 hours. Wayne and Lara were so personable and made our day a great one! We will be doing this again next year.

Fantastic trip!

Went on coolcat with friends today for a four hour trip that included lunch. Really fun day and great value for money. Lunch was superb and drinks were flowing. We sailed then stopped to swim, snorkel and have lunch. Wayne & Lara were great hosts. Couldn't fault it and definitely recommend it. Look no further, do this trip!

Amazing time!

Wayne and Lara were awesome!! We went in a four hour sunset sail and it was so fun! Wayne made one of the best chicken breasts I've ever had in my entire life, Lara was awesome and very accommodating! We went with a total of 4 people and had just an amazing time in our private charter. Would 100% go again with them, loved getting to know them! Absolutely recommend!!

Super fun excursion

Great day on the water! We cruised past the island and stopped for lunch and snorkeling in a secluded bay. The captain and his daughter were super nice and accommodating. Really fun thing to do with your family. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Great Afternoon excursion - Highly Recommend

We arranged this tour with 3 other couples that we met on Cruise Critic before our visit to the island aboard the Celebrity Equinox. Our journey was handled flawlessly from pick up at the pier to drop off. We had a great afternoon sailing, the weather was beautiful, Wayne and his daughter took excellent care of us. There was one vegan aboard and they made sure that a meal was available for her.

Just Chill

We had a wonderful 6 hour sail with Captain Wayne and Lara. They picked us up from the resort and it was an easy, relaxing excursion. We went to a a beautiful beach and afterwards had a wonderful lunch on board with Wayne's secret marinade. Perfect relaxing trip.

Great day out

Great day out on the Cool Cat with our whole family. Wayne and crew sere super welcoming and professional and put our mind at ease to travel with a 1 year old. Dropped us on the beach at one point so my wife and I could have an hour to ourselves. Sailing was cool but the two highlights fro me were swimming off the back of the Cat and also the lunch. Wayne bbq'd some chicken for us and his daughter made an amazing rice salad and it was one of the best things we ate on the whole trip!

A must do in paradise

12 of us spent the most wonderful day with Wayne and his daughter Sim. They made us feel so at home and looked after us like kings and queens. The food was excellent and choice of alcohol was wide. The trip was roughly six hours and it was the perfect amount. All of us agreed it was our favourite day of the entire holiday and Lara, Wayne and Sim to thank for that.

A Must Do

Booking with Lara was a breeze. They offer an option for a lobster lunch it's a must do. Captain Wayne and Sim led us onto the catamaran and gave a quick safety review and off we went. They are both AMAZING. Wayne let us know this trip was for us and we should let him know what we liked and didn't. Words can't describe the beauty of the cruise. We stopped in a cave to snorkel and swim ashore for some shell collecting while they put lunch together. Lunch was DELICIOUS. Salad, grilled lobster with vegetable rice. Sim makes a mean rum punch! Before we knew it we were headed back. All four of us had a great day and HIGHLY recommend this. This was my 3rd trip and will be doing it again. Thanks Wayne, Lar and Sim.

A top 10 day

We booked a full day private sail and it was a brilliant choice. The crew was expert, thoughtful, fun to talk with and made us feel at home from the moment we boarded. They served a beautiful lunch, dessert and rum punch, beer and wine. The boat was beautiful and well maintained. We snorkeled and swam in two gorgeous spots and saw beautiful marine life. We also docked at a beach and had some beach time too. Wayne and Sim were a pleasure and made for a top 10 day.

Favorite Activity

Wayne and Sim are phenomenal people and provide such a great experience on the catamaran including a very delicious lunch.

A Fantastic Day!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our catamaran sail with Wayne & Sim aboard the beautiful Cool Cat. And Lara was a pleasure to deal with in making the reservations… Payment was easy and the directions to the meeting point and transportation to the dock was spot on. The boat itself is wonderful - beautifully maintained and well equipped with plenty of shade to keep out of the hot sun if you want. Wayne & Sim showed us a fantastic time. The beach and swimming/snorkeling area they took us too was perfect - easy to swim/snorkel and just relax. Lunch and the beverages were outstanding as well. I wholeheartedly recommend spending the day with the Cool Cat crew - we had the time of our lives!

Highly recommend...

Wayne was very welcoming, his daughter Sim was a fantastic host also. Had the best trip out on the private catamaran, which included sights of turtles and much more. Took us to some amazing private beaches where at one we jumped off to do some snorkeling where we were lucky enough to see many fish and other marine life. Midway through our tour Wayne whipped us up some superb lobster on the BBQ topped of with some local hot sauce which again was delicious! While the lobster was cooking away Sim was hard at work in the kitchen creating the most unreal salad and rice salad I have eaten. We then proceeded to sail along the southern/western coastline soaking up some unbelievable views and sun. This whole experience/tour is unbeatable...

Beautiful Catamaran

Well this was our third time aboard Cool Cat, and it was just as good as we remember. 9 of us went out for my daughter's 13th birthday and we all had a fantastic time. The catamaran is spacious and clean and just a gorgeous way to spend the day. Once again Wayne was hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable and he and his daughter Sim really looked after us. A delicious barbecue lunch was cooked for us to eat on board, to be washed down with plentiful beer, wine and soft drinks. We went to some stunning beaches and just had the best time. I cannot recommend Cool Cat highly enough. In my opinion it's a must for anyone visiting Antigua. Thank you for looking after us so well.

A really lovely way to celebrate our special day

We booked the 6 hour private charter to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Wayne and Sim were the perfect hosts. The catamaran was really lovely, plenty of space, lots of shade if you wanted it and well stocked with lots of choice of soft drinks, beer, wine and free flowing tasty rum punch in the biggest glasses! We opted for the lobster bbq and thought it was well worth the extra money. We moored up by a lovely beach, which you can only get to from the sea and snorkeled while Wayne did the bbq.

Fabulous sailing with great hosts

What a fabulous experience. Wayne and Lara were professional and put us all at ease immediately. Great hosts without being intrusive in any way. Really informative about the island and sail boats that we saw. Nothing was too much trouble, there were beers, soft drinks and rum punch available all day, not to mention the fantastic BBQ chicken lunch. They accommodated our vegetarian guest with a delicious meal too. The boat was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The views were spectacular and the secluded beach we went to was simply beautiful. Highly recommend.

Wayne and Lara looked after our group exceptionally well. They were the perfect hosts and the whole day was superb and very enjoyable and informative. We also had a superb lunch cooked on board.
